Networking Lunch and Tour
It’s almost time for International CES 2015 in Las Vegas. This year, 66 of the over 200 startups present in Eureka Park will be French, a sign of the increasing importance of the French Tech movement and International startups in general.
Monday, January 5th, there will be a #FrenchPitch networking and “elevator pitch” luncheon between the FrenchTech startups at CES and a group of American startups, investors, business development agencies and the press. The luncheon will be followed by a tour of the Downtown Project and discussions with local startups and business leaders. Don’t miss this opportunity to network with American and French startups and business leaders while at CES.

What is the Downtown Project?
The Downtown Project’s mission statement is: To help make downtown Vegas a place of Inspiration, Entrepreneurial Energy, Creativity, Innovation, Upward Mobility, and Discovery, through the 3 C’s of Collisions, Co-learning, and Connectedness in a long-term, sustainable way.
Born from a $350 million investment by Tony Hsieh, CEO of online retailer Zappos (purchased by Amazon in 2009 for $1.2 billion), the project is creating an urban live/work zone and startup ecosystem in historic Downtown Las Vegas.
Today, Downtown has become a dynamic and unique living and working space with over 300 new companies and 900 employees created since the beginning of the project. In 2013, Zappos moved its 4000 employees into the previous City Hall building in the heart of downtown.
